Senile.

  • Senile or senility or senescence are non medical terms and very negative, derogatory, degrading, demeaning, sarcastic, belittling, unflattering, critical, humiliating, scornful, spitefull, unfavourable words that we must never use to describe the elderly.

  • Senile or senility are commonly used to describe a confused frail older confused person as if their failing health is typical of “old age” when it is clearly NOT! These older people are in desperate need of proper medical care!

  • Senile and senility are commonly used to ridicule and marginalise unwell older people so that they are labelled as not worth treating and just simply neglected when good holistic comprehensive medical care can produce spectacular improvements in health.
